Hello! Have fun looking at my varied works!

My Art
My visual art is done in:
Photoshop CC and Lightroom (for photos).
Cloth art dolls use various fabrics, trims, and beads at my disposal, and sewn with a needle and thread; a sewing machine's too difficult to maneuver.
My writing uses:
Zoho Notebook for writing on the go
Laptop for most normal writing days
Microsoft Excel for keeping track of word-count etc
Microsoft Word for the majority of my writing
Mozilla Firefox browser for researching my topics and subjects in depth
XMind for plotting maps of story-lines
About me:
I love DeviantArt! It's a wonderful community where I can find people just as weird as I am.
I love the Beatles: John and George are my favorites - RIP, my musical lads!
I like the Young Ones, a 1980s British comedy TV show: My favorite ones are Neil Pye and Rick (played by Rik Mayall, also RIP)
First and foremost, I'm a writer. Have been for over 25 years, and I don't intend to stop until I'm somehow physically unable to do it (ie. permanent brain damage, or death) I try to write every day. I aim to freelance part-time, and write for local newspapers part-time. With time, I might write for the big screen.
I listen to music every day and can't go through a whole day without it. And I used to play a multitude of musical instruments, but now I only sing and sometimes play harmonica. (cue Charles Bronson silhouette)
I also wrote my own music and lyrics, but rarely nowadays.
I like feedback on my work, so if you have some suggestions or constructive criticism, please let me know!
I believe in angels! And I've adopted St Gabriel as my patron Archangel (like a muse as he is the archangel of writers, journalists, and anyone involved in communicating as an occupation or hobby).
I love TV Westerns, especially:
'Gunsmoke'
Favorite characters:
Festus Haggen - Ken Curtis
Marshal Matt Dillon - James Arness
Miss Kitty Russell - Amanda Blake (Miss Piggy of the Muppets supposedly based on the character)
Chester Goode - Dennis Weaver
'Bonanza'
Favorite characters:
Ben Cartwright - Lorne Greene
Hoss Cartwright - Dan Blocker
Little Joe Cartwright - Michael Landon
Griff King - Tim Matheson (only appeared in Season 14, which was the final season aired)
I love classic movies, including:
Star Wars, whose main hero is my favorite character. I do not think that Disney did the saga any justice. And as you can see, I'm also hopelessly gaga over the actor portraying Luke Skywalker (Mr Mark Richard Hamill) and to me age is just a number, so... I'm not all that picky regarding charismatic men with a boyish charm. Give me a long and deep conversation with him any day; I bet he has a lot to say and is as creative and funny in person as he is on the small screen (ie. TV interviews).
It's a Wonderful Life - Jimmy Stewart was a genius in his style: the stuttering, the low voice, the way he could conjure up tears and those different facial expressions... purely good acting and very iconic in film history (remember Rear Window, Vertigo, Mr Smith Goes to Washington, Harvey, The Broken Arrow, Mr Hobbs Takes a Vacation, et al, also in re his Westerns like Broken Arrow mentioned above. Although once you've seen It's a Wonderful Life you can never unsee or unhear the manners and voice of George Bailey in all those other movies).
Miracle on 34th Street - the original version with Natalie Wood as Susan Walker and Maureen O'Hara as Doris Walker (Susan's mother). This one has Susan witnessing the Macy's store Santa (Kris Kringle, their new Santa in place of one that got drunk during the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade) speaking Dutch to a girl who was adopted and spoke no English but insisted that "Sinterklaas" could understand her. It's what prompted me to try to learn Dutch, other than my Dutch buddy/brother-from-another-mother Tom.
A Fistful of Dollars - A classic Spaghetti Western that started the series of The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly Westerns (otherwise known as the series of The Man with No Name).
Classics are awesome. And the ones I mentioned are only a few of the ones that definitely make the grade.
My dA Family:
Twin brother: I luv you, man! BlindSharigan aka Tom
Twin sister: I looooooove youuuu!!! QuirkyCuriousBex aka Becca
Younger sister & brother: Awesomeness abounds here! Lucy-Has-Diamonds aka Chloe and Dalton
Note: If you want to be a part of my dA family, just message me as to who you want to be (in relation to me like aunt, uncle, cousin, nephew, niece, maternal grandfather's third cousin twice removed and is next in line for the throne of Majorca) and I'll add you!
Current Residence: Cape Cod, Massachusetts, USA (Patti Page made a song about it)
Favorite genres of music (warning eclecticism ahead):
Celtic
Classical
Classic Rock
Crooners/Easy Listening
New Age
Oldies
Sea Shanties
Steampunk
Swing
World
Favorite photographers:
Robert Doisneau (Le Baiser de l'Hôtel de Ville)
Harry Benson (a regular with the Beatles)
Ansel Adams (a pioneer in State Park photos, most notably in Yosemite)
Dezo Hoffman (another Beatles photographer)
Edward S Curtis (a definite pioneer of cultural portrait photography in the Old West)
Linda Eastman McCartney (needs no explanation)
Annie Leibovitz (celebrity photographer who took the 'naked and vulnerable' picture of John Lennon clinging to Yoko Ono)
Favorite styles of art:
Art Nouveau (like Alphonse Mucha)
Medieval stylized (like the illuminations of the period),
Popart/psychedelic (like Andy Warhol and Peter Max)
Pre-Raphaelite (like John William Waterhouse)
Greco-Roman frescoes (like those seen in ancient dig sites in Athens, Greece and in Rome, Italy).
Operating System: Windows 10/11 (to my great misfortune, though I'd like to stay up-to-date with some aspects of technology and its changes, as my intellectual work is important to me and if I lose it or it gets stolen, I am forever ruined... )
MP3 player of choice: my phone, I guess
Wallpaper of choice: Anything that fits with one of my projects, or fits with my mood.
